Employing neurodiverse people

In the UK, only 16% of autistic adults are in full time employment, despite a very high percentage wanting to work.

An IT and compliance business called Auticon has become the first enterprise to exclusively employ adults on the autistic spectrum, as IT consultants.

With more than 100 of their staff on the spectrum, they employ these talented and gifted people in the UK, Germany and France.

They appreciate that employing neurodiverse people have some distinct advantages, as there are things that some autistic people can do better.  They can see patterns, they have an interest in complex mathematical structures, they offer honest feedback and a unique perspective when it comes to approaching problems.

They value and support these individual, enabling them to thrive.
